A dream play
The play may have been written by Strindberg, but the adaptation is so comprehensive that it can be considered a Bergman work.
About the text
The text of the 1970 production was translated to English, though it was released in Sweden. The Swedish adaptation is unpublished (though it exists in the Ingmar Bergman Archives).
