I Like It Almost Every Day

A report from Munich.

About the text

The Swedish evening paper Expressen had earlier published two articles in which they asked the exiled Bergman to return to Sweden. In this open letter Bergman answers by describing the theatre life of Munich and how the Germans regards him as an odd figure. The letter is finished with a tribute to Rainer Werner Fassbinder as a 'joker of the German bourgeoise'.
